These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ASIN Metrics (“ASIN Metrics”, “we”, “us”), an analytics and product-sourcing service for Amazon sellers delivered as a website at asinmetrics.com and a companion Chrome extension. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
ASIN Metrics helps Amazon sellers research and source products. It surfaces profit, ROI, fees, BSR, Buy Box, offers, and price-history (Keepa) data on Amazon listings; runs bulk product scans; and—when you choose to connect your Amazon seller account through Amazon’s Selling Partner API—turns your orders, sales, fees, and business reports into revenue, profit, and sell-through analytics, and checks listing eligibility (gating) against your account. Features may change as we improve the product.
2. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. The service is for business use.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it current. One person or organization per account unless you are on a Team plan.
3. Subscriptions, trials & billing
- Paid plans start with a free trial. We will not charge you until the trial ends; you can cancel any time before then in your dashboard and you will not be billed.
- After the trial, plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice for future periods.
- Plan limits (e.g., monthly lookups, bulk volume) are described on the pricing page. Fair-use caps apply to higher tiers as described there.
- Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Contact us if something went wrong and we’ll make it right where we reasonably can.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or share the service or its data outputs beyond your own seller business, or scrape/redistribute our service.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
- Use the service to violate Amazon’s policies, applicable law, or the rights of others.
- Misuse data obtained through the service, including any data accessed via the Amazon Selling Partner API (see section 5).
5. Amazon & third-party data
Some features rely on third parties—Amazon (via the Selling Partner API), Keepa, and Google (only if you connect Google for the optional Sheets sync). When you connect your Amazon account, you authorize ASIN Metrics to access the data needed to provide the features you use, on a read-only basis you can revoke at any time from Seller Central.
We handle Amazon information solely to provide the service to you, the connected seller, consistent with Amazon’s Acceptable Use Policy and Data Protection Policy. We do not aggregate one seller’s Amazon data across other sellers to provide or sell to any party, and we do not use or share insights about Amazon’s business for our own purposes. How we collect, use, store, and delete this data is described in our privacy policy.
Amazon, Keepa, Google, and Stripe are trademarks of their respective owners. ASIN Metrics is an independent service and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Amazon. Third-party data is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for its accuracy or availability.
6. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data and third-party data), is owned by ASIN Metrics and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You retain ownership of the lists, notes, and other content you create.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Profit, ROI, fee, eligibility, and sales figures are estimates based on third-party data and your inputs; they are not financial, legal, or business advice, and you are responsible for your own sourcing and selling decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASIN Metrics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us, other users, or Amazon. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling on closure is described in our privacy policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
